Our Collection
At The Steam Workshop, we are a group of life long steam and model engineering enthusiasts. As such we have a collection of our own engines that has grown to include numerous historic and interesting models. The models are either owned by us personally, by The Steam Workshop or entrusted to our care by their owners who feel that we are a safe and responsible custodian.
We take pride in our historical model engineering knowledge here at TSW, holding a huge research library and archive resource for the purposes of model identification. We feel that part of our responsibility is to ensure that the models that we care for are accessible to the public. We ensure that they are curated, restored where appropriate, displayed and described in a way that both respects their historical significance and tells their story.
