Here we have a brand new and as yet unsteamed 5" gauge BR Britannia. Built to the Perrier drawings, and by an experienced model engineer. 5" Britannias are big and heavy models for the gauge, and the builder felt that she was too big for him to manage so decided reluctantly to pass her on to a new home.
The boiler is a brand new professional boiler from Priory boilers complete with all the original paperwork. Fitted with twin injectors, an axle pump with footplate mounted bypass valve as well as the hand pump in the tender.
Currently this is a finished loco that has run nicely on air many times, but as an unsteamed loco it is 'un-commissioned' and will almost certainly require several 'tweaks' and fixes to get it to the position where it's a reliable runner. We can do all those jobs for you here in the workshop, but we are busy so we've decided on this one to offer it to you with both options. Either as she is for you to do the commissioning, or fully steam tested and track ready.
