Here we have a 2 1/2" gauge GWR 'Newsom Grange', built to the early LBSC design. This is a nicely made loco, built by a well respected model engineer, who wen't on to build a lovely 3 1/2" gauge LNER P2 and a very nice 5" Stirling Single. Sadly after he passed away the models languished for many years in the back of the garage, gathering dust and rust. Economically the smaller, lower value models are difficult for us to work on and still come out ahead, so as a result we are offering this one as a project for someone to resurrect. Scruffy as the overall appearance is, the fundamental model looks to be all there, and indeed have promise of being a great little loco when restored.
