Here we have a nice example of a 3 1/2" gauge GWR Hall, in this case currently number 6999 'Caple Dewi Hall'. We had this one come through the workshop about 5 years ago and she has benefited from a nice fresh paint job while away.
Fitted with an injector, a mechanical pump with footplate mounted bypass valve and a hand pump in the tender. Lubrication is mechanical and under the front running boards as usual. The boiler is silver soldered copper and of course comes fully tested both hydraulically and on steam to make sure that everything is good and working as it all should.
As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get! We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
