Here we have a 3 1/2" gauge Thompson A1/1 built to the LBSC well respected 'Heilan Lassie' design. A full 3 cylinder model with a large firebox and boiler, the Heilan Lassie makes a really free steaming and smooth running model that generally is able to punch above it's weight for a 3 1/2" gauge model. Indeed it is rather longer than the average 3 1/2" model particularly with the 8 wheel tender, she's longer than any other 3 1/2" standard gauge pacific.
Silver soldered professionally made copper boiler with full certificates and boiler tests. Fitted with an injector, axle pumps and hand pump in the tender. Mechanical lubrication.

As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get!
We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
