Here we have a rather lovely 3 1/2" Canadian railways Caboose,..... or guards van if you're English!
A beautifully made, and nicely detailed job, this came in with the 3 1/2" Caribou that we've also got listed at the moment for sale, and ideally it would be lovely to see them go as a pair, but just in case, this is the listing for the Caboose alone should that take your fancy. There is a battery compartment underneath, and the brake wheel poking under the frame is the on/off switch for the lamps. The lamps are quite neatly done, the metal bracket being one terminal and the wire being the other. The same goes for the scale lamp hanging in the cabin, which also works.
Lovely detailing inside, all the doors and cupboards work and open, as do all the windows. The chassis is well engineered with the brakes linked up to both bogies operated from either veranda.
