Here we have a well sorted 3 1/2" Gauge LMS Princess Royal. We actually had this loco in the workshop a good few months ago for a little mechanical fettle. We had the boiler off in order to make a repair to the main steam bush/wet header seal. It gave us the opportunity to give the whole thing the once over, and it certainly stood up to close inspection. A very nicely machined and well made loco, that was a regular and well known performer in the Bristol area for years. We had the pleasure of running her in again earlier in the year, and can confirm that it's a great model to drive.
There's an injector, a twin axle pump and footplate mounted bypass valve, as well as the obligatory 'panic pump' in the tender! The mechanical lubricator is on the running boards, and she comes with a full hydraulic test certificate and steam cert ready to play.
