Here we have a nice little 5" gauge Achilees, all ready to play for the season. This is a well proven little hauler, having been subtly equipped with the odd pound or two of lead to help keep the wheels stuck to the rails! Easy to drive and free steaming, there are all the usual things, footplate operated drain cocks, injector, axle water pump with footplate mounted bypass valve as well as the hand pump in the tank. Lubrication is from a nice big mechanical lubricator on the front footplate. Boiler is a professional Ellis copper silver soldered job, and there is obviously also a current hydraulic and steam cert/
All in all this is a tidy little loco, that runs well. The photos should hopefully fill you in on the rest.
