Here we have a Part built 5" gauge 0-4-0 LNER Y4 side tank to the well proven design by Doug Hewson. This came in originally described as a Dick Simmonds designed Ajax, and it was close enough that we never thought to question it! On closer inspection however, it is clearly a Y4, so consider this your amended listing! It is a well built loco to the air running chassis stage. It could do with the odd rub with wire wool, as there's a little surface rusting on parts of the motion, but it's only superficial, and doesn't need much doing mechanically. A nice start has been made on the bodywork and smokebox.
