Here we have a 5" BR Hymek Class 35 battery electric loco. This one if fully radio controlled with working sound recorded from a real Hymek, as well as working smoke with corresponding fans to draught it out of the exhaust. The independent roof fan works too giving you something dynamic to look at was you ride behind it!
The bodywork is a little scruffy, although the weathering disguises that quite well, and the bogies are pretty much the standard silhouette ones without much added scale detail. There is a mass of wiring inside but if you peep through the jungle you'll find a new 4QD control unit there so it has all the right bits to work very well, and the radio control enables the rear of the loco to look as detailed as the front as there's no cables necessary cutting through the cab. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
