Here we have a nicely detailed 5" Gauge GWR 57xx pannier tank. Made to the well proven, and ever popular 'Pansy' design by LBSC. This is a pretty tidy example of the breed, and rather unbelievably the very first Pansy that we have had in stock! The usual bits and bobs are all there. Hand pump in the pannier tank, injector under the footplate and the crosshead water pump between the frames, with bypass valve on the footplate. Lubrication is from a rather sizable mechanical ratchet lubricator in the coal bunker.
She isn't a new model, and as such has the usual scratches and dings consistent with a running model. But that said, she has been well looked after, runs beautifully on air, and can of course be given a full hydraulic and steam test so she is essentially ready to hit the track and play. A nice, solid and reliable model that is relatively easy to drive and maintain,..... and that really looks the part.
