Here we have another 5" gauge GWR Pannier tank 0-6-0. This time a 46xx rather than the slightly more commonly finished 57xx. This one is built from the quite rare Modelworks pannier kit, and as far as we can tell has been built by a competent model engineer into a working model, and she certainly looks pretty nice and tidy.
We sold this one as a complete but in need of a little work pannier a year or so ago, and since that date it's had various jobs done including a brand new crank shaft to get it to run really nicely, which of course it does, even to be seen recently shunting the yards at the recent Gilling GL5 mainline rally.
Fitted with an injector, (currently plumbed to feed from a driving truck to carry more water, and keep it cold) and axle pump with footplate mounted bypass and of course the handpump in the tank. Lubrication is mechanical and mounted underneath the front running board. Fully tested and certificated, she is ready to hit the track and play.
