Here we have a 5" Maxitrak Coronation battery electric loco. Clearly a 'played with' loco, that has come to us after the previous owner sadly passed away. The loco spent a good few years tucked up under the bench in his workshop out of use, as he'd moved on to 7 1/4" gauge. The battery that came with the loco had obviously gone flat and will we think struggle to take charge, so you'll need a new battery, but everything else appears to be in working condition, albeit a little cosmetically scruffy!
As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get!
We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
