Here we have a 5" Southern Railway Merchant Navy. A great start to this relatively rare and extremely desirable model. This is the first part built Merchant Navy that we've had available for sale, and it's certainly a well made and solid start to the published 'Ariel' design.
The tender is pretty much complete, nicely detailed and ready for paint. Lots of nicely fabricated frame stretchers and motion brackets as well as a good start to the machining of the crossheads, slide bars, cylinder and other parts.
