Here we have a solidly built 5" gauge sit astride driving truck. Braked and with a nice space for your coal at the front this is an ideal driving truck for a 5" narrow gauge prototype like a Sweet Pea or Wren for example. The rather scruffy makeshift handles on the top with the gaffer tape wrapped around them were just presumably for the previous owner to give younger children a decent handle to hold on to, and are easily removable. Hopefully the photographs will fill you in on the rest of the details,.....
