Here we have a 5" GNR Stirling Single nearing the end of a rebuild. The model appears to have previously been a running model, and has been stripped and rebuilt to the position that it's currently in. It appears to have already run as it stands, presumably to iron out any teething troubles before the finishing of the bodywork and paint so it's certainly well on the way to being a finished loco.
The boiler looks nicely made and can come with a fresh twice working pressure shell test so you're good to go there, it turns over nicely on air and there are a good few other parts of the model and it's platework present as you can see in the later photos. All in all a great project that won't take too much effort to push over the final hurdles.
