Here we have a 5" LBSCR Terrier tank to the Martin Evans design. We've got 3 of these projects locos, all to pretty much the same stage that were obviously being built as a batch. We've split them into individual projects.
The boiler is silver soldered copper and looks to have been solidly made with the silver solder copiously applied. We can happily give it a fresh twice working pressure hydraulic test for you. The chassis is new and tightly machined, but everything turns and looks to us like it should run on air, so generally the hard bits have been done. Taking over someone else's unfinished project always comes with a degree of industrial archaeology, so there will undoubtedly be a degree of stripping back to find out how things have been done and what actually needs to be finished before progressing the build forwards, but certainly the bulk of this seem to be there.
