Here we have a 7 1/4" gauge Metre Maid 0-6-0 project for someone to put back together. It was a complete and running loco, but was stripped down for a minor boiler repair, at which point the previous owner decided that it was too big a challenge to finish it and put it all back together, so it came in to us as a part exchange against a running loco. A big, chunky and fun loco based upon well proven mechanicals, and as you can see from the photos, most of the parts are there to put it all back together. We can't guarantee everything of course,..... there's bound to be something missing, and there are usually things that go missing or need replacing during any strip and rebuild, but hopefully it should be a relatively quick rebuild.
We can of course pump up the boiler here to identify and show you where the weaps are, so that you can go in with your eyes open.
