Here we have a lovely 7 1/4" gauge Kerr Stewart Wren class 0-4-0 saddle tank. The loco is in very presentable condition, with minimal mechanical wear and tear. The boiler is silver soldered copper and comes with both previous history as well as a fresh hydraulic test and a fresh annual steam test.
There is of course an injector fitted as well as a crosshead pump with plenum chamber and bypass valve. Lubrication is mechanical and easy to access under the tank. All in all a well presented, robust engine that is a mice, manageable size for a 7 1/4" gauge narrow gauge prototype.
As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get!
We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
