Here we have a particularly scruffy looking, and ever so slightly battered 3 1/2" gauge LMS Stanier Black 5! That said, she runs freely enough, and comes with a full boiler certificate so is completely ready to stick on the track and fly round,..... without the added worry of scratching the wonderful paint job!
There is an axle pump with footplate mounted bypass. An injector and a hand pump in the tender. Lubrication is mechanical and under the front running board as is so often the way. Boiler is fully certificated silver soldered copper. The photos, with any luck will tell you the rest of the story. Not a thing of beauty,..... but a cheap, running, perhaps a rolling cosmetic restoration of a locomotive that you can just get out there and play with.
